Searching all company messages
AISAR can search not just by conversation names but by the actual text of messages — either across the whole company or inside one open conversation. Here's where to type a query, how the two search modes differ, and how to jump straight to a found message.
What you need to know
- AISAR has two different message searches: company-wide search (from the search field in the conversation list) and in-conversation search (within one open conversation). Both require a query of at least 2 characters.
- Search looks through messages you have permission and channel access to see — not indiscriminately across the whole company.
Company-wide search
- In the Chat section, type a query into the Search dialogs... field above the list on the left.
- Once the query reaches 2 characters, two sections appear below the field: Dialogs (matches by contact or conversation name) and Messages (matches inside the actual message text, across the whole company, not just the open conversation).
- Click a result in the "Messages" section — AISAR opens that conversation and scrolls straight to the matched message.
- If there are more matches than shown, the "Show all matches (N)" button loads the next page of results.
Search inside a conversation
Once a conversation is open, a search scoped to just that conversation is available — it doesn't look beyond that one dialog, but it lets you step through matches one by one (forward and back), the way an in-page browser search does.
Common issues
